Each piece of handcrafted furniture is made to order, in Italy. The standard lead time for our craftspeople to complete your furniture is 4-8 weeks, depending on the specific items ordered. Then, it typically takes about 3-4 weeks for shipping by sea. So, total lead time including crafting, ocean freight, and white glove shipping to your home is 12-16 weeks, although the average lead time is 10 weeks.
The standard lead time for lighting is 8-10 weeks, unless items are in stock, in which case you will receive the order within 7-14 business days, or sooner.
Approximate Shipping Times are Not Guaranteed
While most orders arrive in a very timely manner, shipping times cannot be guaranteed. Please note that circumstances do arise that are beyond our control, i.e. - extreme weather conditions, lost or misdirected packages due to carrier errors, and credit card authorization problems, customs issues and/or random customs inspection. In these rare situations, the delivery time can be delayed a bit and expected shipping times are not guaranteed. We do everything within our control to expedite every order.
Lighting orders are shipped via UPS or common carrier. We are unable to guarantee a specific date or time of delivery at the time of order. Customers can, however request a tracking number for their shipments, which can be used for online monitoring.

Furniture Delivery and Inspection
On arrival, you will carefully inspect each piece to be sure that no damage has occurred during shipping. In the rare case that damage has occurred, customers must note it on the shipper's waybill and contact Country Gear immediately so we may assist you.
Regardless of the option you choose for shipping, you are required to thoroughly inspect your furniture upon delivery and prior to signing the shipper's waybill. We have rarely had instances of shipping damage, but it is a possibility that we are prepared to resolve if necessary.
In the rare occasion of damage, we are unable to assist and file an insurance claim without the customer’s notation of the damage on the shipper’s waybill.
If there is damage to items shipped via common carrier (i.e. UPS), please call us at 631.537.1032 immediately so that we may file a claim, and please keep all boxes and packaging. We will replace or repair any lighting damaged in shipping as quickly as possible.
Please be sure to inspect each piece of furniture individually for damage.
You are responsible for properly describing any and all damages on the shipper's waybill.
